В статті показані основні етапи становлення професійно-технічної освіти США у ХХ ст. На основі вивчення праць американських дослідників освітнього процесу аналізується стан дискусії про зміст, параметри професійно-технічної освіти та еволюцію поглядів на значення її у економічному піднесенні Сполучених Штатів Америки.
The presented document is dedicated to the main aspects of formation of the Vocational Education of the 20th century. Based on published work of the prominent American educators, the presented material provides in-depth analysis of the state of discussions relevant to the content, as well as factors and main stages of the Vocational Education and its evolution.
